Why Outsource Accounting and Bookkeeping?

Managing an in-house accounts department can be costly and inefficient, especially for growing businesses. Weak financial management creates risk and takes focus away from core operations.

We offer comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping solutions that streamline your financial processes, reduce risk, and keep you compliant with Indian regulatory standards. You get a qualified team, reliable month-end closes and clear reports, without the cost of hiring, training and retaining accounts staff.

Indian Compliance Built Into Your Books

Good books in India are not only accurate. They also meet specific legal requirements. Our internal controls over Indian statutory compliance keep your books proper and audit-ready.

  • Books of account under the Companies Act, 2013, maintained on an accrual basis, with an electronic backup kept on servers in India.
  • Audit trail (edit log), enabled in accounting software, as required for companies since 1 April 2023.
  • Schedule III financial statements, under Ind AS or Indian Accounting Standards, as applicable.
  • GST and TDS reconciliations, with GSTR-2B and Form 26AS/AIS matching, through our GST and direct tax teams.
  • MSME payment tracking, so payments to micro and small enterprises are made within the time limits that protect your tax deduction.
  • Payroll and statutory dues, with PF, ESI and professional tax recorded and reconciled through our payroll service.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do accounting and bookkeeping services in India include?
They typically include setting up accounting policies, general ledger management, payables and receivables, bank reconciliations, fixed asset records, month-end close, financial statements, MIS reports, GST and TDS reconciliations, and support during audits.
Which accounting software do you work with?
We work with Tally Prime, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP Business One and other ERPs. We can also help you choose and set up the right software, with the audit trail enabled as required for companies.
Is audit trail mandatory in accounting software in India?
Yes. Since 1 April 2023, companies must use accounting software that records an audit trail (edit log) of every transaction, which cannot be disabled. Auditors are required to report on compliance with this requirement.
Can you handle accounting for an Indian subsidiary of a foreign company?
Yes. We maintain books under Indian requirements, and prepare reporting packs for the foreign parent in the format it needs, including under IFRS or US GAAP where required. We also handle transfer pricing data and FEMA-related records.
Can you fix books that are behind or have errors?
Yes. Our catch-up and clean-up service brings overdue books up to date, corrects errors, reconciles past periods and gets the accounts ready for audit and tax filing.
How is pricing decided?
Pricing depends on transaction volume, the number of entities and bank accounts, reporting needs and the engagement model. We share a fixed monthly fee after understanding your requirements.
